Volunteer with Renovation Alliance!

Renovation Alliance’s success is driven by our volunteers. Throughout the year, more than 1,300 volunteers from local businesses, organizations, and schools as well as individuals will donate their time and skills to improve our community. We complete a wide variety of repair projects that can be matched to the volunteers skill level.

Individual Volunteers

Do you have construction experience you would like to put to use repairing the homes of our low income neighbors? Whether you’ve worked professionally in the trades or are a skilled DIYer, Renovation Alliance is always looking for individual community members to volunteer with us! We can provide all material and tools needed to complete a variety of projects.

Group Volunteers

From one day team building projects to week long alternative spring breaks, Renovation Alliance would love to find a project for your group! We can provide all materials and tools needed to complete the work. However, for most projects your group is responsible for providing a Site Lead. A site lead is someone with the necessary experience to safely manage the jobsite while teaching other volunteers and ensuring the work is completed with excellence.  If your group doesn’t have a qualified site lead we may be able to assist by finding one or have RA staff present for the build day. If your group is interested in volunteering with RA, please fill out the interest form below. Once you submit the form, RA will contact you to match you with a project suited to your skills and a project date(s) that works with your schedule. We look forward to building with you soon!
